It's Memorial Day in the USA - a solemn day for remembering those who lost their lives while serving in the military forces. The practice of commemorating and decorating soldiers' graves dates back to the 1860s to honor those lost in the Civil war.
Not to diminish the pain of grieving families, most expats probably know this day as the one with the most sales events.
